The Africa Sustainable Energy Centre (ASEC) will be represented at World Energy Week 2025 by its Board Co-Chairman Kweku Awotwi and Executive Director Justice Ohene-Akoto. The global energy summit runs from 6 to 9 October 2025 in Panama City under the theme “Energising Connections, Powering a Healthy Planet.”

Mr. Awotwi and Ing. Ohene-Akoto will join the World Energy Leaders’ Dialogue, contributing to discussions on energy security, affordability, and sustainable transitions. Ohene-Akoto is also slated for the panel “From Blind Spots to Bright Spots”, where innovation, policy, and community actions in the clean energy space will be explored alongside global experts.

World Energy Week is designed to be a platform for high-level dialogue, interactive sessions, and collaboration aimed at shaping the future of energy globally.
