Tino Solutions Reaffirms Commitment to Ghana’s Renewable Energy Drive

Solar energy provider Tino Solutions has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Ghana’s renewable energy and sustainability objectives, highlighting the firm’s two-decade journey in the solar sector.

According to Chief Executive Postino Dugle, the company has already contributed more than 100 megawatts of off-grid solar capacity into Ghana’s energy mix since beginning operations in 2005.

The reaffirmation came during a thanksgiving ceremony marking Tino Solutions’ 20th anniversary in Accra, where Mr Dugle paid tribute to the company’s customers, staff and partners.

He emphasised that the business started modestly and has grown significantly—currently employing over 100 people—with a continued focus on expanding solar installations across residential, commercial and rural settings.

The company also expressed a readiness to partner with other industry players, viewing them as collaborators in Ghana’s solar transition rather than competitors.

Tino Solutions placed particular emphasis on broadening access to solar power, supporting national ambitions such as the 24-Hour Economy policy and accelerating Ghana’s shift away from hydro- and thermal-dominated generation.

This renewal of mission underscores the firm’s belief that solar energy will play a pivotal role in Ghana’s clean-energy transition—both for off-grid communities in remote areas and for reducing costs in grid-connected settings.
